ICAM - Refurbishment of Premier House, Leek.

After relocating to larger premises in Leek, Staffordshire, Icam are combining the administration and showroom facilities of our original Blisworth offices with the engineering production unit from Cheadle. The all new 'working' showroom will incorporate a 'very large format' scanning system and the whole range of Icam's imaging products from desktop A2 to floor standing A0+.

A secure managed store area will be included as well as a traditional 'dark room' to include 35mm microfilm processing for our Digital to Analogue service . Update.... building work complete, showroom studio now functional. Kitchen and meeting room completed. Visitors are now more than welcome!

New Automatic Slide Copier

Icam announce a simple, fast, slide copy system. Designed for continuous operation with daylight LED lighting and integrated 'air knife', the action of placing a slide in the holder starts the imaging process. Works with Icam 'ARCAPTURE' or Phase One 'CAPTURE ONE' software and a wide range of camera systems. System shown at Nottingham University has 36MP Nikon D810 camera and Zeiss Macro lens to capture 35mm slides at up to 3,500ppi. The built in 'light box' strip allows slides to be checked before capture. The system is fully portable .

Now available again in a revised and upgraded form to special order. More adjustments and a larger format means larger material may be digitised and the system used as a vertical copy stand.

Book Cradle - 'Vee' support angle fully adjustable for fragile volumes. available with dimmable adjustable LED lighting mounted on the frame or with a 'no lighting' option for Tripod mounted lighting of your choice.

Vacuum (adjustable) edge holding for delicate holding of the page. Focal plain laser ensures perfect focus and edge / corner laser provides perfect alignment.

Cameras and mounting

Icam offer a wide range of digital camera systems and lenses. We recommend Phase One systems with up to 150 MP (million pixel) sensors and uninterpolated outputs of over 450 MB (24bit RGB TIF). Auto-focus is standard and 'Live Video' at 100% size allows perfect alignment and focus checking. A heavy duty camera mount and addition support ensures the heavy medium format camera is held security.
